Walking through the dark storms, you glimpsed the heavens falling. There was a tier of pain and lies crumbling, the further into dissembling I fell. Dust flowed through effervescent hearts, as echoes skittered through a cavernous land. Illusionary dreams clouded the minds of children, as I searched alone.
Lightning filtered through hatred, as birds fell unto stars. Decay played rampant through fields of hope, as chargers turned on their riders, and the screams formed an unholy chorus. I walked blindly amid the dying, grace laughing on my lips. Halting by you, I took your hand, pro-offered.
Spinning in the vortex of failing sunrise, false dawn was painted by the blood. Darkness receded in honor of pain, while gales swore the holy from their nest. We laughed and wondered, a glaring countenance to the hail of swollen throats. Discordant we stood, as encroaching light fled.
Summer stagnates in a wintery blaze, as Fall smirks, rejoicing in its’ time, as the season of propagation hides, forlorn.
Dancing freely as the iris folded under, we clung together. Stepping apart, we searched anew, as Winter courted the new King.
