Who: Mira, hopefully Rozsk, and whoever else. ♥
What: Mira wanted to touch the neat eggs. And that was it...maybe.
When: Around midnight. (Backdated a bit, to about an IC week after the Clutching.)
Where: Third Hatching Cavern~.
It had been a week and a day since she had stumbled (figuratively) into the cavern where a wher's clutch had just been laid. The caravan was leaving in just two more days, and she was bent on getting to touch those eggs. Who knew when she'd get another chance like this? Not soon, probably - if ever again. It was just nearing midnight, so the queen should be awake, and yet not tired from waking or from having been awake. Wouldn't want to chance her being snappish from sleep, after all; alert was best.
The handler had said to bring gifts, but Mira was at a loss of what that had meant. For a regular animal, that was likely food, or possibly a toy - but a wher was not a regular animal. Though apparently not as intelligent as dragons (which she'd gleaned from a few words here and there), they were still very intelligent creatures and far from stupid. She'd seen some dragons that were fascinated by human trinkets, and others that thought nothing of them - but there was no telling if whers were similar.
In the end, she'd brought three gifts, of different sorts. Maybe she'd like at least one of them enough to let Mira touch the eggs.
Padding quietly toward the caves, she looked around to see if any of the handlers were about. She didn't see any, but they could still be around. She wasn't very certain if she needed to speak to the goldhandler again before coming, either. Alas, spotting no one, she shrugged and made her way into the caves. Passing the first two, she paused and leaned to peek into the third one. "Hello?" she said quietly, not certain if she'd find anyone else there.
