Who: Lialla and anyone else
What: Chores
When: Mid-morning
Where: Docks
If she had been smart, Lialla would have checked to see with whom she'd be spending the day doing chores with. A lapse in judgment, however, and a distraction by the name of Cryth, had kept her from doing so. Sighing, she went in search of someone to tell her what to do, hoping that she would be the first to arrive this time. The last thing she wanted was to have another encounter with a sharding... little... annoying green weyrling, such as the one she had been forced to deal with. R'tel had gotten along just fine with L'mar, who had arrived at the same time, and with R'nen, who had arrived even later- maybe he just had something against girls. That, actually, was probably it. He liked guys (he was a greenrider, after all) and felt that girls were trying to... steal them away, or something like that. Which was utter nonsense, of course. One of the boys had been her brother- no competition there!!
Maybe he just didn't like you. I don't know why, loveyMinelovey. But maybe! Cryth inserted cheerfully, albeit drowsily. The green was still firmly ensconced in the stage that (apparently) the dragonets were supposed to grow out of. She was around six months in age, half a Turn, and she was still always either eating, bouncing, or (most likely) sleeping. Right now she seemed to be in a stage in between the bouncing and sleeping. Thanks, love, that makes me feel better, Lia returned. Her mindmate, like usual, ignored the sarcasm.
Other than the encounter with R'tel, though, her reunion with L'mar had been fairly... tame. Which was strange, when taking her brother into consideration. She had already been pranked four times in the very short time- the most notable time being when he convinced her, in one of their small conversations, that he had a child who was two Turns old by the name of Liassa. He went on saying that she was in the Creche now with her mother, Sania, and she was just the cutest little thing. Of course Lialla had completely believed him, until she had insisted on going to see the little girl. At that point, of course L'mar had to admit that she didn't exist.
Other than that, she and Liam had been ge-- shells. L'mar. His name was L'mar, now, and she kept on forgetting. She and L'mar had been getting along pretty well. Shaking her head, Lialla walked up to find a dock worker, who seemed to be in charge. The man escorted her and her busy thoughts over to a pile of nets and, after a few minutes and a few examples, left her alone to mend the things. Her fingers didn't quite twist in the way to knot them together, and so it took her an extended period of time for each one, but she was able to make slow and steady progress despite it being her first time. This was actually... quite easy. And peaceful. See, this was why she got to chores early!
