Benden Hold
Due to her station, Syana has a decently nice set of rooms at her home which she adores, when not being cooped up. 3 rooms are there for her to call her ‘own’, a bathing room, study area, and a bedchamber. The study and bedchamber are connected to each other, with the bathing room tucked behind that. Though her study and bedroom both have doors of their own, the bathing room only connects to her bedroom. This is mainly for her piece of mind, as Syana prefers to have some privacy, and enjoys long baths.
Many a peg are tucked into the wall, from which hang various scarves, bracelets, and necklaces, running at random heights. There are plenty which are too small to fit, from time as a child, but are kept out as reminders of them, and many which fit yet. Interspersed are pictures, some crude and others not, some bought, some gifted, some by her, that are tacked up, filling the space with clutter-but a clutter that somehow welcomes and warms, rather that repulses.
Thick linens cover the bed in dark blues, and several furs cover the stone floor for warmth, welcoming and inviting. A few lamps and glow baskets provide light, and a heavy shawl is thrown over the chair in the study to ward away chill. A large dog-bed lays in the study as well, with a few old chewing toys and rawhides, and leashes on a peg above it.
Candidate Barracks
Barracked with another girl, Syana has brought only one moderately large chest to the Weyr, knowing she can send for anything which she needs and does not have. Inside are a few trinkets, some folded pelts and clothing, sturdy leathers, and pieces which she uses for her dogs, including treats and the like for them. A series of bright scarves lay atop the chest, inside which is wrapped her money pouch when it’s not on her hip. A few small daggers are tucked away inside a false bottom, lest she ever find herself needing a weapon.
