As of now, Cerulean has a total of 153 dragons in residence. Weyrlings account for 23 of that number; the remaining 130 are adults of varying ages. The 130 adult dragons have been sorted into one of five Wings, each carrying 26 members. All Weyrlings will remain in the Side Wing until graduation. Other members of the Side Wing will include any mature goldriders, pregnant Riders who can still fly Thread, and injured Riders and dragons who can still fly but perhaps not up to par. Breakdown of Colors: - 1 gold (0 adults, 1 Weyrling) <1 PC, 0 NPC> - 8 bronzes (5 adults, 3 Weyrlings) <4 PC, 4 NPC> - 23 browns (18 adults, 5 Weyrlings) <8 PC, 15 NPC> - 43 blues (37 adults, 6 Weyrlings) <5 PC, 38 NPC> - 77 greens (70 adults, 7 Weyrlings) <9 PC, 68 NPC> - 1 white (0 adults, 1 Weyrling) <1 PC, 0 NPC> Take Note!IC: - Most greens and some blues will not be able to last an entire Fall. They will be scheduled in shifts to switch them out periodically. Some dragons will be able to hop back in after a rest, while others will wear themselves out completely. Having one or two shifts of blueriders and two or three shifts of greenriders is likely the best idea. Planning to have around 15-20 dragons up at once is the most sensible option. - Wingleaders will often host meetings with their Wings to go over techniques and training dates, as well as addressing any issues brought up by those in the Wing and discussion of how they might accommodate for an absent member (due to illness, injury, or pregnancy). Most will have a visual and/or a written listing of the placements within the Wing, including which dragons are on which shifts. Example mockup below: (Made by Rouxy) OOC: - New players will get sorted into one of our two PC Wings. Unless there is a severe imbalance, they will get their choice of which. - If for any reason, IC or OOC, that you believe a character of yours should be in a different Wing, please PM Kira and we will attempt to accommodate. - Positions within the Wing – such as Wingsecond – are assigned by the Wingleader IC, not by the admins, so speak with your Wingleader if you would like to gain or step down from such a position. - Wingleaders will be required to host Wingdrills once every one or two OOC months. If they are unavailable or unable to begin it when necessary, they can ask a Wingsecond to temporarily take their place in the event.

*snort* Why the heck would I be furry?! XD
But here's a couple from recent:
IC: So I take it darling Gareth ditched you for a woman?
IC: K'roi-baiting was quite honestly her favorite pastime. S'lain-baiting was a close second, but he bit back better.
IC: Plus, those dimglow assistants were probably off canoodling or stuck in shock. …Er.
I will eventually comb the place for others that made me giggle quite a bit...but not right now. XD

Who: K’roi and Tess. ♥ What: What happened between Tess following a familiar figure…and running back to the infirmary. When: During Trith’s Flight. Where: Unfinished area of the Weyr. Warnings: None? To Tess’s disappointment, haha! XD Note: Rouxy and I did this over AIM, so it’s all being posted at once! I’m the blue, she’s the purple.
She could still feel the pangs of a woeful fire-lizard echoing in the back of her mind, but her curiosity was piqued. She only knew of one person who walked around wearing all-white (as her quick glance had led her to believe this person was), and he was supposed to be several hundred clicks away at Honshu. Creeping back along the hallway, she peeked around the corner she was sure the figure had disappeared around, hoping the person hadn't turned another hallway just yet. They were in one of the rougher areas of the Weyr, full of half-hewn Rider weyrs and hallways that would eventually lead to more than dead-ends.
Shard it, shells and scorchit all. Gareth was in his head, and he was all turned around. He veered right on a wingtip one second, and turned left down a semi-familiar hallway the next. He wasn't going to make it to the flight rooms, that was for sure. A bright flash of color entered his head as Sakki sent a worried question, and it cleared his head enough to let him enter a nearly finished but empty weyr. This would have to do. He'd gone alone on flights before, and he didn't want to maul some unsuspecting drudge or youngling. Goldflight lust could be powerful, too powerful. Gareth took his thoughts, and he began pacing the room while the bronze flew the skies.
She just managed to glimpse the figure turn another corner, but still hadn't seen enough to know for certain. Giving a little stomp of her foot in vexation, she continued down that hall too and peeked around the corner again. A nearly finished weyr was what she found, with her friend pacing the length of it. Not really piecing together in her mind that K'roi would be just as affected as any other Rider, she leaned against the doorway in amusement. "So I take it darling Gareth ditched you for a woman?" she teased cheekily. K'roi-baiting was quite honestly her favorite pastime. S'lain-baiting was a close second, but he bit back better.
The wind was a blessing against his skin, the golden beauty just ahead. She dove, he followed. She twirled into a quick spin, and he barrel rolled after, his wings taunt pinnets in the stiff breeze off the ocean. The salt spray was a refreshing -what? The weyrleader turned at the sound of something. A female. She was pretty, but not the queen. Where was the queen? She hid, no doubt, hid in the game. He'd wait until she showed herself, he was patient, oh so patient. He blinked and suddenly 'female' became Tess, and his breath caught. "Go away Tess... you need to leave before..." his eyes widened as Gareth dove after Trith, and he became the bronze again. He took a few steps towards her, something -needy- in his eyes.
Oh. Oh shards. He was caught up in Flightlust, and she was an idiot. Eying the doorway, she edged back toward it slowly. She made it a point that she was nobody's Flightmoth, and any lovers she took were after her and not some other. Secretly, she knew that - if asked - there were two people in the world who she'd make an exception for. Before her stood one of them, with a look in his eyes that at once broke her heart and made her breath catch. She knew that going through a Flight alone was torment to a Rider - especially if they won. And she had her confidence in Gareth's abilities. If left alone and someone else stumbled upon him... She shivered at the thought. But that didn't mean she should stay. He wasn't himself enough to choose, and he'd already told her to go (even if it was for her own sake). Finally, she decided she'd wait at the end of that hall and keep watch. Yes. That was a grand idea. Except he was a lot closer now and she still had another step before she was out of the room. Oops.
The female moved away, and he moved closer, tempting, teasing, drawing near and then further away. The queen moved away too, but Gareth/K'roi followed at an easy pace, winging this way and that, a delightful play of the winds that eddied around her glowing form. His hand/paw dared to touch her, a brief caress of a shoulder, and he was gone again, sweeping wide around the weyr. Would she be angry? Some were, some didn't like to be touched till -they- said it was allowed. He watched the female, watched her move away. Away was it? He'd follow then. Always following. He'd catch her though, oh yes. There were no other males -yes there were!- his head snapped side to side, haunting images of bronze brown and blue at his sides, other chasers. He closed in on her, pressured to show his best.
Another half-step back, and he took a full one forward. Even if she stepped out the door now, he would reach her before she could truly leave. He had reached out and brushed her shoulder, and she shuddered. She was usually good at ignoring the Flightlust when it washed over the Weyr, but being in such close proximity to a participant...it was practically rolling off of him. Giving a tiny shake to her head to clear it, she reached out to hover her hands near K'roi's chest. "K'roi," she said sternly, hoping to pull his attention back to the man for at least a few moments. She wasn't sure if that would work, but she had to try. "It's okay," she told him softly, wondering if his previous words were his wish or for her own sake. "If you need, it's okay. Tell me to go again though, and I will." It wouldn't be pleasant if he told her to go again; she'd probably have to hurt him a bit to hinder him enough for her to get away. It would be temporary, knowing enough about the body as she did, but it would still hurt like a Threadscore. She didn't let him know this, of course. Her hands, from their placement, could as easily strike out as they could press forward to his chest.
There was no boundary between man and dragon now, they were one. Their particularly deep bond drew the man down into the flight until he barely knew himself for having two legs. The queen was the sun, and a surrogate was there posing as her. Still, her skin was smooth and fair, and she was as beautiful, with a halo of mousy hair seemingly mussed. Was that a shadow of wings? The dragonman couldn't tell. The Gareth part of him wove an intricate dance behind the golden one, wings straining for speed and maneuverability. The man took gentle hold of the female before him, hands on shoulders again in a movement that was half caressing. Was he allowed then? His face drew closer peering into eyes that suddenly dawned familiar on the man again. A healer, a friend. "Tess?" he questioned, before something violent suddenly had him whipping away from her and sprinting across the open weyr to the ledge, skidding to a near stop right before he'd plummet over. "NO!" he shouted, two dragons in his paired dragonsight as Gareth roared his own raging denial. Two dragons, one golden, the other dark and unknown. Spiraling down, down, the rage of the queen ripping through his mind. K'roi fell to his knees, suddenly the man as Gareth broke their intimate connection with a bewildering wrench, the roars of dragons reaching him even from the flight's distant location.
K'roi reached out for her again, and Tess let him. Though gentle were his hands on her shoulders, she felt a warmth radiating from them that made her shiver. So that was the decision then. She felt her eyes flutter as she gave over, for once, to the lust that washed over the Weyr. His face drew nearer, and she tilted her own to make up for the inch of height that separated them- But then she was violently tossed away. She staggered and caught herself on the wall, shock the only thing registering in her partially lust-dulled mind. Why was he…?
Then a voice rang in her mind. A dragon – a bronze, most likely, but not Gareth. And he was saying…WHAT?! She cursed aloud as the words sunk in. So that was why he’d shoved her away… It minutely soothed the odd pang of hurt that had sprung up from somewhere. A quicksnap shake of her head and she was thinking clearly again. No, no time to ponder over that weird disappointment. If someone had hurt the queen, then she would need attention. And perhaps the other chasers. And even perhaps their riders! She was no dragonhealer, but she was Healer and she could still help. Plus, those dimglow assistants were probably off canoodling or stuck in shock. …Er.
Shaking her head again, she glanced over to K’roi. Something pulled at her to go over to him, but she…couldn’t. And well, shardit, she was admittedly rather embarrassed too. “I…I should go to help. There could be…some hurt,” she said lamely, then whipped around the corner and ran. It was a coward move, in some ways, but she didn’t have time to think about that just yet. Using her escape to a better advantage, she hiked up her skirts and took off full tilt – skidding around corners – making it to the infirmary in record time. There were indeed some assistants to bark at, and she managed to lose herself in readying the bays for injured dragons. Faranth knew they would need them.
She would think about why it had hurt later. …A lot later. …Maybe.
((...And later K'roi got to be angry AND blueballed, since Roux didn't give me another reply. ;D))

I will admit to falling off the ball. >.>; It was something we kept reminding each other to do, and kept forgetting. SO! Here is where we'll be tallying Marks for both August and September. While normally we'd prefer it entail a character doing their job (wingdrills for Riders, patrolling for Handlers, chores/lessons for Weyr- and Wherlings, etc.), I think this time overall activity will count. (Candidates do not receive a monthly payment.) Any additional jobs or paid chores (found at the bottom of those pages) your character might have done will count toward what you made as well. If you have a character who has multiple professions that they actively engage in, post up a link for both and you will get paid for both. So to get your marks, for each character post up a thread of activity for each month (August and September) using the following format: Name:Job(s):August Link(s):September Link(s):((Everything from those months should already be in the Thread Listing. August posts go from "Running Wild" to "Healing the Soul"; September posts go from "With a Cherry on Top" to "Let's Get Logical".))

L'cin made five pairs of riding-goggles, and customized two of them. He had a bit of glass-making equipment, but he needed to purchase the leather, thread, dye, metal(which S'ren wrought for him, in exchange for a third of the profits of the three he will sell), and time at the forges.
- 1 Mark for expenses.
Total: 1/2 Mark

Mira was still humming gently, petting the hair of the little head that rested on her shoulder. The last of the little ones had finally drifted off a bit ago, but she sat there still, turning the page in the storybook propped in her lap. Misk was awake, certainly, but oddly calm as Hers hummed and the little ones slept. She'd taken to them very well, surprisingly, even if it had taken a little while to establish to the children that she didn't like them touching her if she didn't nudge them first. She thankfully wasn't the type to lash out, which was the only reason that Mira had felt okay bringing her here. After all, these were the folk they were protecting - it would do well to familiarize with them, right?
Misk was curled up on the floor in the middle of a few piles of furs (the children hadn't wanted to sleep in their beds if they could get closer to the odd creature), carefully playing with the beads on a braid in one of the little girls' hair. Mira grinned as she noted that the clicking of the beads mimicked the beat of her tune. They'd actually had a relatively tiring evening, with Misk going one-on-twelve with the little kids in a happy little game of tossing some balls back and forth - her lithe form easily bouncing and darting back and forth. Mira had kept close watch to make sure neither side got hurt, even as some of the girls (and a couple of the boys) had gotten her to put a couple little braids in their hair to match hers. They were a good lot, overall - annoying at times, but that was children for ya.
When Tovsk came to fetch them, Mira smiled at his gentle croon. Misk quickly informed her of what he had wanted, and Mira gave a nod - knowing the wher would see it in the dim light. Carefully, she set about disentangling herself from the several tiny forms that had curled up on or against her, expertly crawling and stepping over them to get to the edge of the bed. She hopped down on a small bit of rug to hide the slap of her feet, then made her way silently to the door. Misk unwound her tiny form and set about winding her way between the furs around her, carefully stepping over the sprawled limbs. Mira had been working with her to use that natural agility to move both sinuously and quietly. Mira smiled brightly at her and leaned down to press a sweet kiss to the top of Misk's blunt little head, a loving scratch letting the wher know just how proud she was of her. Misk preened under the attention, but kept her croon quiet so as not to wake the smallones.
Mira waved to the nanny in charge for the night as she left, the woman still eying Misk warily. Once out in the hall, she rolled her eyes and exchanged a look with the wher that made them both snort in amusement. Misk made an unhappy sound, closing her eyes against the brighter light of the hall. "Just follow the sounds of my steps, sweetling. I'll tell you if there's something else to be aware of," Mira crooned back at her. The wher might not enjoy even the glowlight, but it was unfortunately necessary for the other occupants of the Weyr. Taking off with her feet tapping the ground as she walked, Mira took off back toward the apartments with Misk following. Aside from a few pauses to signal a doorway or stairs, they finally made it out into the dark of the night. It was Misk's turn to lead then, as Mira's eyes adjusted, and they hastily made their way to their shared apartment.
Mira donned the rare pair of loose, thick pants and a pair of thin, soft boots for the evening. She was certain that once she and Misk could patrol on their own that she could wear her normal garb, but for now they'd have to follow along with Toven. It was entirely possible that the lanky man would take a much different path through the same foliage than Mira would have opted for. Adding several extra daggers (she kept only the bare minimum around the kiddies), she finally deemed herself ready and sauntered off to the area Misk indicated the others were. "Hullo, Master Toven," she greeted with a playful grin and an oppositely respectful nod. If the fact that she called him Master at all didn't convey the fact that she actually respected the man, then she'd help along the sentiment. She greeted her two fellow greenhandlers, then gave Meta a wink and Naoko a waggle of her fingers. Sidling up next to Dastan, she gently knocked his shoulder with hers and smiled at him, reaching up to give a little scritch of attention to his flit. Learning about Misk and her care was good fun, really, but being able to be near her favorite bluehandler made it all the better. She felt Misk lean against her from behind, peering out shyly toward Dassk and the other male whers. It made Mira laugh with the sheer cuteness.

As Silver Cove Weyr was founded at the beginning of the 5th turn of the Tenth Pass and Cerulean Weyr created right at the end of the 6th turn/beginning of the 7th turn, anyone older than 3-years-old will have transferred in from somewhere. Dragons can transfer in from any established Weyr on Pern; people and whers can transfer in from anywhere. If you plan to transfer in, then it's possible your character might have known any others who transferred from that same Weyr.
Keep in mind that many people transferred in to Silver Cove Weyr when it first established, and more have come since Cerulean Weyr was established to aide them. A large group of dragons also came from Southern Weyr while transferring the Freshwater Clutch eggs.
List of available Weyrs to transfer from: Benden, Fort, High Reaches, Honshu, Igen, Ista, Silver Cove(two clutches were hatched there to Fannith and Gareth), Southern, & Telgar.
List of available Holds to transfer from: Benden, Bitra, Crom, Fort Hold, High Reaches, Honshu WeyrHold, Igen, Ista, Keroon, Landing, Lemos, Nabol, Nerat, Ruatha, Silver Cove, Southern Boll, Southern, & Telgar. (There are many remote areas and smaller Holds that look to these major Holds. For convenience, they will be listed under the major Hold that area looked to.)
List of available Halls to transfer from: Beastcraft, Dolphineer, Farmer, Fisher, Glass-smith, Harper, Healer, Miner, Painter, Printer, Smith, Starcraft, Tanner, Tech-craft, Vintner, & Weaver. (There are also many minor Halls of this type, as well as several other Crafts that do not have a central Hall. They will have "(Minor ____ Hall)" listed after the names when applicable.)
