Who: S'ren and whoever happens by. (C'ko and Dastan were given this chore too, btw~!)
What: THE EXCITING ADVENTURES OF...changing glows.
when: Early Afternoon.
Where: A random back hallway in the Weyr, to start. Likely near the Great Hall.
Warnings:Bored S'ren. None.
This, seriously, had to be the most boring chore in the Weyr. Every day they'd take a new section, and every few days it would cycle back to the same section. Empty the old glows, put in the new ones. Just don't get the buckets mixed up. And then bring the buckets to the drudges so they could sort out if any old glows were still good enough to use in certain areas. Apparently the wher caverns needed to be dimmer, so the old glows were useful for that.
Again.
And again.
And again.
S'ren sighed and brushed an unruly bit of hair out of her face - where it promptly fell back again, to her frustration. She needed to cut it again, but she just hadn't had the time. Between a young dragon, a partially-traumatized brother, a birthday, a carnival, wreaking general havoc, lessons and chores, there just hadn't been enough hours in the day the past few weeks. As troublesome as Feynth and L'cin were, she did love them quite a lot, so the only things that were wrong with that equation were the lessons and the chores. Though lessons had helped her care for Fey, and had begun being interesting and full of wing formations and strategy and the like, so they weren't so bad anymore. So mainly the chores. Especially this one.
And she was the first one here today, too. She hadn't gotten much of a chance to meet the others assigned the chore, too busy just trying to get the sharding task done to give them much heed. But today...she felt lazy. And Fey was sleeping. And it was pouring outside. So she might not really care about speed as much as ENTERTAINMENT. Honestly, this chore was for people who didn't need to think it was so boring. If she wasn't a dimglow herself by the time she finished she would be genuinely surprised. Oh, if only the day could get more interesting.
Hearing footsteps making their way down the hall she had started in, she caught up one of the definitely-dead glows and flung it at the sound. If anything, she could say it slipped. But it might just provide some distraction, so why not.
