Who: Raelwyn and Meta, Open to anyone else
What: Chores
When: Early afternoon, after lunch
Where: The Infirmary! XD
This wasn’t her first go-round in the infirmary. Raelwyn had been a candidate for quite a while now, and she had been rotated through every chore you could think of. Kitchens, docks, crèche, library; you name it, she had done it. All this stuff was old hat to her now, practically second nature. And so it was with light, easy steps the girl approached the infirmary, humming softly under her breath and attempting to keep her two flits from killing each other. To be honest, she hadn’t really expected to bond to another pet at Brillia’s hatching, for she had mostly gone to merely observe. The harper loved hatchings, and would have even went to see the whers if it was allowed. Yet, despite whatever she had previously thought, apparently the little, golden-hued brown had decided she would make a fitting mindmate, and here she was with two highly possessive, adorable yet exasperating firelizards.
They constantly tested her patience, of course, and it was a good thing she had plenty. Tydus and Cloud were so much alike, they practically loathed each other, and there were plenty of times the girl had been forced to break up a potentially lethal fight. Cloud had the look of a predator about him, a sleek creature with wickedly long claws, and Tydus had the advantage of a bronze’s size on his side. Yet, despite their rocky relationship, Raelwyn loved them both dearly, and had both bronze and brown in tow as she approached the infirmary. Besides, she didn’t trust them alone.
Entering the infirmary, Tydus spread across her shoulders and Cloud resting in her hands, Raelwyn approached a healer and offered her aid for the afternoon. Pointed towards a row of recently-vacated beds, the candidate was given the rather unglamorous job of…changing bedsheets. Forcing a small smile onto her face, the harper nodded and strode off, taking the load of fresh sheets the healer had indicated her to use. Sighing very softly, Rael sat her brown down on another bed and tickled her bronze until he leapt up with a very un-masculine, giggly squawk. Grinning, she then went about her work, pulling the old sheets off quickly and snapping out the fresh, clean sheets before draping them over the beds. Tydus and Cloud watched her curiously, occasionally grabbing a piece of bedsheet in their mouths and tugging playfully.
