As of now, Cerulean has a total of 153 dragons in residence. Weyrlings account for 23 of that number; the remaining 130 are adults of varying ages.
The 130 adult dragons have been sorted into one of five Wings, each carrying 26 members.
All Weyrlings will remain in the Side Wing until graduation. Other members of the Side Wing will include any mature goldriders, pregnant Riders who can still fly Thread, and injured Riders and dragons who can still fly but perhaps not up to par.
Breakdown of Colors:
- 1 gold (0 adults, 1 Weyrling) <1 PC, 0 NPC>
- 8 bronzes (5 adults, 3 Weyrlings) <4 PC, 4 NPC>
- 23 browns (18 adults, 5 Weyrlings) <8 PC, 15 NPC>
- 43 blues (37 adults, 6 Weyrlings) <5 PC, 38 NPC>
- 77 greens (70 adults, 7 Weyrlings) <9 PC, 68 NPC>
- 1 white (0 adults, 1 Weyrling) <1 PC, 0 NPC>
Take Note!
IC:
- Most greens and some blues will not be able to last an entire Fall. They will be scheduled in shifts to switch them out periodically. Some dragons will be able to hop back in after a rest, while others will wear themselves out completely. Having one or two shifts of blueriders and two or three shifts of greenriders is likely the best idea. Planning to have around 15-20 dragons up at once is the most sensible option.
- Wingleaders will often host meetings with their Wings to go over techniques and training dates, as well as addressing any issues brought up by those in the Wing and discussion of how they might accommodate for an absent member (due to illness, injury, or pregnancy). Most will have a visual and/or a written listing of the placements within the Wing, including which dragons are on which shifts. Example mockup below:

OOC:
- New players will get sorted into one of our two PC Wings. Unless there is a severe imbalance, they will get their choice of which.
- If for any reason, IC or OOC, that you believe a character of yours should be in a different Wing, please PM Kira and we will attempt to accommodate.
- Positions within the Wing – such as Wingsecond – are assigned by the Wingleader IC, not by the admins, so speak with your Wingleader if you would like to gain or step down from such a position.
- Wingleaders will be required to host Wingdrills once every one or two OOC months. If they are unavailable or unable to begin it when necessary, they can ask a Wingsecond to temporarily take their place in the event.
