Raelwyn's RoomSoft and enchanting, Raelwyn's abode is certainly a place one could easily imagine a wistful harper to inhabit. From the first glance, any visitor would be quickly calmed by the placid aura of her room, the gentle hues and curved furnishings dreamy and serene. There is, of course, the standard candidate cot in the center of the back wall, the headboard facing the wood while the foot of the bed points toward the door. However, the harper has traded the issued drab linen for a fluffy blanket of blue embroidered with silver thread in the shapes of heavenly bodies, stars and crescents decorating the rich cloth. She loves the blanket, and often cuddles up in it to read or play with her flits. Near her bed, there is a large fur covering most of her floor to keep out the chill. Beside her bed, there is a curvy, rather attractive table with two drawers that she bought when Vivacious Vivacity came to Cerulean. As she possesses quite a lovely singing voice and has performed on request, the girl has several marks to spare on such luxuries. She has covered the top with a small, sea-green cloth and always keeps a sapphire-hued vase full of fresh flowers there. On the opposite wall, there is a much larger desk that is of far starker workmanship than the beautiful table, but that too she has covered, with a cerulean cloth bordered and trimmed in gold dragons. That was a gift from a dear friend before she left Ista. Upon the table, the edges are filled with curiosities and trinkets that she has collected over the turns, particularly from her frequent trips to the beach. Seashells, bits of precious metal, and many, many other items have been placed carefully about the corners and edges to catch the eye, while still leaving the center open for any paperwork she has to do for lessons. From her ceiling and near her bed, Raelwyn has hung a rather lovely wind chime, five different dragon figures decorating the bottom in the hues of their kind; gold, bronze, brown, blue, and green. Once she had acquired that trinket, the harper found the rest of her ceiling to be too drab, and quickly found bolts of bright, Caribbean blue and a soft, fluffy mint green and hung them in waves. The two whimsical colors cover the whole ceiling now, and lend the room a much brighter air. Upon her walls, two paintings set, one of her brother's dragon and the other of her two flits, Tydus and Cloud. Raelwyn requested it of a new candidate that just arrived, and is very happy with the gorgeous work. One last stand sits in a corner, containing her flute in it's case and her apprentice knots from the harpercraft. On the same wall sits her mirror stand, a large bowl placed on the top for water and her brush beside it. A cloth hangs over the lip of the bowl for drying her face. At the foot of her bed, the sturdy, standard-issue trunk sits, filled with her older clothing for chores and work. Mostly skirts and spaghetti-strapped shirts, with a couple of pairs of sandals and one set of boots. There is also some warmer clothing for winter, as well as a thick cloak. Her nicer clothing resides in the drawers of the pretty table next to her bed, holding two dresses that she bought while out with L'mar, one in harper blue and the other in a deep emerald that matches her eyes. Her two necklaces rest beneath those dresses, one that was given to her by her brother and the other a dragon-shaped pendent a friend fashioned for her, as well as a nice tunic and skirt set, and a fine pair of sandals. In the bottom drawer, alone, rests her white Impression robe and thin sandals worn to hatchings. ((Please note that is only her half of the room, since she is bunked with another girl in the barracks))

Tydus's Corner In one corner of Raelwyn's room, parallel to her mirror, there is a large woven basket upon the floor, filled with two fluffy blue blankets. This is Tydus's bed, her bronze flit, and he will not stand for anyone else touching his little sanctum except Hisgirl. The blankets have been rubbed on and shoved around enough that they look absolutely frumpy, but the flit loves to curl up inside the cloth. There are precious few things inside his basket, since the bronze doesn't care for presents, but there are a few miscellaneous rocks and little bits of shell he has found to be attractive enough to keep in a corner. However, Tydus occasionally forsakes his basket to sleep on the bed, but he still loves his little nook.

Cloud's Hoard In the other corner parallel to the mirror and beside the flute stand, there is a nearly identical woven basket for Cloud, though it is a bit smaller. Here, two green blankets are snuggled into quite happily by the brown, and he loves to kneed his claws in the top cover. Raelwyn will have to replace it soon. However, unlike the bronze, this flit has an entire hoard of little trinkets in his basket, all piled neatly in a corner and often covered carefully by the cloth. Cloud is extremely selfish with his treasures, and will only allow Hisgirl to see them. Often, the little brown will admire and croon over his hoard, gazing at the trinkets, little figurines, shells, and sparkly rocks with whirling eyes. He, too, occasionally will sleep with Raelwyn, but he loves to sleep near his treasures the most.
