As I've never rped before this is all still pretty new to me so I was just wondering if anyone could lemme know what they think about this: My new (and only) character is Kestrel. She is currently being Searched by Mango's U'ar of Brown Odyth. But she arrived at Silver Cove Hold with Jordan and his bonded Brown Wher Jorsk. I haven't described either of them in very much detail but Kestrel is quite attached to both of them. I mentioned in her history that she paired up with them to travel across to the Southern Continent because Jordan was looking for a WherHold to make his home in. Now that Kestrel will be going to the Weyr I'm not sure what to do with him.. I was just wondering whether or not I should bring him in as a new character altogether and rp him too, or should I phase him out by saying he moved on in his search? Is there a place here for him to stay with his Wher? Would he be good to keep around? Is there much Wher activity? If he does go, is there a plausible place he could go to? Would it be ok if he came back at some point? I do like the idea I have of him and his Wher in my head, but in all honesty I haven't padded his character out at all. I know there isn't much to go on in Kestrel's history about him, but if anyone could let me know what they think that would be great

Oh yes! That would be great! I do love whers : D
I was wondering if you had any plans for him and that brown. We deff need more males, our selection is rather slim. I have some lovely future plans for our whers and handlers.
Also, just so ya know, your character doesn't have to stay only in a single thread. Once your character's search thread is started, it's assumed she (or he) gets searched successfully and ends up in the Weyr. Threads are chronological in the order of their first post,
Here's a excerpt from our FAQ about that
------The flow of time for Cerulean is generally forward, but this doesn't limit you in the number of threads you can have active. Threads are sequential in the order that they were created. Say your Candidate is being Searched. Well, he or she can still post and reply in other threads, even if their Search isn't completed yet. The beginning of the Search thread marks the point in time before any other posts that would be created afterward. Thus, your mid-Search Candidate can go join in any thread that was created after their Search started, as in the timeline of that thread it could take days in real life to actually post everything but only minutes or hours will have passed IC [In character].-
Just wanted to let ya know you have further options if you're interested in creating a thread somewhere else, or when we get rolling back to a start, joining in someone else's thread.

Thanks Mango! You do? Well at least I wouldn't be on my own then! Ye, I wasn't very sure what to do with him now that Kestrel has her new Weyr to live in. But I'll get started on a profile sketch for him now and add him as soon as I'm done! How many Wher's are there anyway do you know? I love them too! But I haven't a clue how you would rp one! Would be fun to try Maybe it's just me, but that all sounded very confusing... I'm going to have to get my head around that!

Haha sorry, I guess that is a mouth full XD Bottom line is that you can post in more than one thread at a time.
Also, we have a total of eight whers, seven which are bonded to handlers.

No problem! But where would I begin with that...? Would I just skip straight to the Weyr? *tilts head* It's still a little confusing...
8? there's one not bonded? Does that mean someone can rp a wild wher?? That would be cool..

Yeah, we have an all player Wher that we haven't quite gotten the rules nailed down to using yet, but he's brown Cerulesk, the Weyr's wher. Not wild, but entirely personable and quite friendly and protective to all humans, for a wher.
He's still a Wherling, but he's nearly full grown.
Don't worry about the posting thing for now, there's not much else going on at the moment, so it's possible you may get to a stopping point in your search post before you want to post anywhere else.
