A dusky, olive-colored tail suddenly flopped out from a weak spot in the shell, and the Willow Green continued the movement it had in attempting to break free, and rolled clear out of the clutch as the shell practically disintegrated to reveal the rest of the muted green in a ball of wings and limbs. It chirped and then wailed shortly as it attempted to stand and fell over, too dizzy from the rolling.
